February 20, 2008 - Electronics Technician/Technical Support
We're seeking an electronics technician/technical support person for a full time
onsite position.
Responsibilities:
- Component level production and RMA board repairs.
- First line pre- and post- sales technical support.
- Engineering assistance.
- Maintain our internal Windows and FreeBSD based computer systems.
Qualifications:
You will probably have at least a 2 year technical degree in electronics or
equivalent, but we're more interested in your abilities and experience than your
education. You need to be able to repair computer boards at the component level,
and probably already have a couple of years of experience doing that. We require
comprehensive general computer knowledge, and we would also prefer that you have
some experience installing and using Linux and/or BSD open source operating
systems.
Written and verbal communication skills a must. Customer service skills
important. For the right person. this will be a good opportunity to gain
experience and develop engineering skills.
Base salary range is 50K-70K per year depending on
qualifications and experience. Must be authorized to work in the US.
